I've been a bit extravagant today. I've been slowly but surely building a stereo system by shrewdly bidding on bargains on eBay recently. I bought a Technics CD player and a NAD amplifier. Both pretty good bargains. Decided that I probably shouldn't cut corners on the final component, the speakers. So I bought these babies today. They are Krix Equinox speakers. Here's some techincal gub on them.....

Have spent all afternoon and evening listening to my favourite tracks with a new awesome clarity. I would happily not leave the house for the rest of the weekend. Hours of happiness.
But... I have tickets to see James Levelle tonight so I need to drag my ass out of bed and hop int he shower and get gone.
I'm wondering if any bugger is actually reading this blog. Would be nice to see some comments now and again eh?
